These terms govern your use of EvelyneBoutique and any order or request you place with us. Because every piece is handmade, please read the sections on our pieces, requests, delivery, and returns with care before you buy.
By placing an order with EvelyneBoutique, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We may update them from time to time; the version in force when you order is the one that applies to that order.
Pieces that are available can be ordered directly. To place an order you need an account, so we can keep you updated every step of the way. When you submit an order and your payment is confirmed, a contract of sale is formed between you and us.
Pieces that are not available to order can be requested instead. A request opens a conversation: in the request chat you and the studio confirm together the piece you would like and when it can be ready. The price is set by the studio and is not negotiable. A contract is formed only once those specifics are settled and payment is confirmed. Timing for a requested piece is agreed individually, case by case, and no specific delivery date is guaranteed.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order or request — for example if a piece cannot be made — in which case any payment taken is refunded in full.
Every piece is handmade paper art: each design is cut from paper by hand and layered at different heights to give the scene real depth and perspective. Pieces are not prints and are not held as mass-produced stock.
Handmade work carries small, natural variations in cut, layering, and colour. These are part of the character of an original piece and are not defects.
All prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. The price displayed for a piece is the price you pay; any shipping and handling is reflected at checkout before you confirm.
We take care to price accurately, but if a clear pricing error occurs we will contact you before your order is made and offer to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment is taken by card and is processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Your order is confirmed once payment is confirmed.
Because each piece is handmade, we do not quote a fixed making time. For a requested piece, when it will be ready is agreed with you individually in the request chat, and no specific date is guaranteed. We will let you know when your piece is on its way and provide tracking where available.
Delivery timescales after dispatch depend on your location and our carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Our pieces are fragile. Each one is hand-cut from paper and layered by hand, so it needs care in handling, packing, and return shipping. Please keep the original packaging until you are sure you are keeping your piece.
Under EU consumer law you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. For available pieces ordered directly from the shop, this right applies in the usual way.
None of this affects your statutory rights: if a piece arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, contact us and we will put it right with a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
All artwork, images, and designs on this site are the intellectual property of EvelyneBoutique and its artist, and are protected by copyright. Buying a piece gives you ownership of that physical artwork for personal enjoyment.
It does not transfer any copyright: the works may not be reproduced, resold commercially, or used for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your non-excludable statutory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts. As a consumer, you may also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law where you live.
